Christian Services, Target, and Corner Market are working together to help those affected by the tor

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Corner Market and Target have teamed up with Christian Services.

For the next several weeks, Christians Services will get food, water, and other supplies from the Corner Market and Target for victims affected from the tornado.

Mike Sowden, Chief Operating Officer of Corner Market said, "Our communities are hurting and we know the good work Christian Services does. So, we reached out to them. And, we know there's going to be a tremendous need. And, we wanted to make sure they had enough food for the next couple of months at least."

"It's good to see community helping community. When I get the community leaders in these grocery stores and agencies calling saying, 'look we just want to help. Tell us what we can do.' It brings up the spirit. It lets the community know hey look we're standing together and God loves us. We're all together in this, and we're one big family," said Christian Services executive director, Jim Prout.

The supplies will be held at Christian Services. Other agencies will come there to help pass the supplies out.
