Over 95 vendors and 600 students participate Southern Miss Career Fair
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - It is yet another big turn out for the Southern Miss career fair Tuesday.
The school said this semester more than 95 vendors participated to connect with Golden Eagle students.
Career Services Marketing Specialist Tonya Williams said, " Every student has an opportunity here today to meet somebody, hopefully get hired, get their field experience in there area, and most of the employers here today are hiring for all sorts of majors here on campus.”
Around 600 students participated at the career fair. Williams said the goal is to expand career developments for students, as well as build relationships and connections.
USM will host another career fair next Fall.
