City of Hattiesburg receives nearly $46,000 from Mississippi Power

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The City of Hattiesburg and Mississippi Power have been working together to improve the lighting in the city.

Together, they have converted more than 2,000 light fixtures to LED in 20 different facilities.

Mississippi Power gave the City of Hattiesburg $45,927.63 Wednesday as an incentive to keep improving lighting in Hattiesburg.
