Police still searching for missing teenager

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Hattiesburg Police Department needs the public's help searching for Marquez Bolton, 15.

Bolton is an initial run-a-way and was reported missing by his family on March 11. He was last seen on Ruby Avenue near his grandmother's house.

Lieutenant (Lt.) Jon Traxler with the Hattiesburg Police Department said Bolton was last seen wearing grey pants, a black shirt, and a backpack on him.

Investigators said he was spotted in the local area, but no solid leads.

“All of our officers have copies and pictures of Bolton, we actually reached out to all the community service, departments around the city, all of our buildings and we made sure that pictures have been posted there" said Lt. Traxler.

He added, "We are still actively out there searching for him. Any type of lead that we can get." Officials said Bolton's family also hired a private investigator.

Lt. Traxler said Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for him information regarding Bolton's whereabouts.
