Laurel Police sought shooting suspect

LAUREL, Miss. - One man was shot Tuesday evening.

Laurel Police said they responded to shots being fired in the 900 Block of South 16th Avenue.

Police said the victim was shot in his leg. The victim was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
