USM Children's Center celebrates Zoo Day

HATTIESBURG, MS. - The University of Southern Mississippi Children's Center celebrated its annual Zoo Day the day before graduation.

The Hattiesburg Zoo visited the center and brought its tortoise and bunny for the children.

Executive Director Sarah Case-Price said, "It is a wonderful time for us to have an end of the year party, but also for them to have experience that they may not get everyday."

The center will celebrate the graduation of 20 kids tomorrow at the Thad Cochran Center.

"The biggest aspect of this day is all of our families getting to interact together in a fun environment" said Case-Price.
