31st Avenue turn lanes closed, District at Midtown construction

HATTIESBURG, MS. - The city of Hattiesburg temporarily closed the turn lanes on 31st Avenue and Hardy Street Tuesday.

The city is installing new water lines for the District at Midtown construction.

"Drivers can expect traffic delays, but the four lanes for normal traffic flow will not be closed" says city officials.

Officials say it will roughly take 2 to 3 weeks until the turn lanes reopen.
