Working on Thanksgiving

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - Sitting at home and eating Thanksgiving day turkey is something that everyone looks forward to during the third week of November. However, everyone is not afforded that luxury. Krispy Kreme is one of few restaurants open today. Krispy Kreme's manager, Brock Sullivan finds it rewarding to work during the holiday.

"It makes you feel good because we had customers come in this morning and tell us. 'thank you for being here' cause they know we sacrifice a lot. They know we have families and they know we want to get back home to our families as well," Sullivan said. "Well the drive-thru is open all night tonight and the lobby will close at twelve so you guys whenever you do your shopping come out and see us. We would be glad to see you guys and everybody have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving."
