Ellisville Police Department host Toy Drive for local foster children

ELLISVILLE, Miss. - The Ellisville Police Department is hosting a toy drive for the foster children of Jones County.

The police department have wish lists from 102 children apart of the foster care system. Authorities ask that you come by and pick up a list to make a Christmas wish come true for a local child.

“It’s important for the kids to have a great Christmas and its important for the community to help these children that are apart of our community make sure their Christmas is special," Deputy Court Clerk, Lora Clifton explained.

Officials asks that you bring the toys unwrapped. The department will be accepting toys until December 15. For more information call the Ellisville Police Department at 601-477-9252
