Extra Table host food pantry fundraiser

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Extra Table will host its annual ‘Celebrity Wait Night’ to benefit food pantries across the state.

The event will take place Tuesday, April 30 at Purple Parrot Café in Hattiesburg. Twenty percent of restaurant sales and tips will benefit the cause and it’s not too late to make dinner reservations.

“There are over 700,000 hungry Mississippians. One in every five...almost 300,000 are children,” said Extra Table Executive Director, Martha Allen.

Walk-ins are welcomed and dinner will be served from 5 p.m. until close.
