Emerge Events, FOX23 invite local women to expo

FOX23, WHPM-TV, is proud to be a gold sponsor of the 2019 Pine Belt Women's Expo. It takes place this Saturday, August 17th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Hattiesburg's Lake Terrace Convention Center.

“It’s hard to believe we started this nine years ago,” Jennifer Clark, a co-owner of Emerge Events, said in a statement. “We started the Women’s Expo as a way to connect women with information, products, and services that would enhance their lives.” Emerge Events has presented the expo since 2011.

The expo is designed to enrich, empower, and entertain local women in an environment of celebration and fun. Guests can learn about businesses and services just for them.

The expo will include shopping, informational booths, seminars, demos, professional headshots, a blood drive, and much more. There will also be thousands of dollars in prizes given away throughout the day.

Childcare is available at the LTCC.
