HPD makes arrest in Apr. 3 shooting

Hattiesburg Police have charged a Hub City man in connection to the Friday night, April 3, 2020, shooting in the 1700 block of West 7th Street.

Robert Freeman, 23, of Hattiesburg, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, after he surrendered to authorities shortly after the shooting.

It was learned during the investigation, that the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation.

None of the injuries sustained were life-threatening.

Freeman was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
